Review
Alright, so today I’m back with yet another chapter review, and today we will go over Chapter 255 which is insane. Be sure to stick to the end because you don’t want to miss it.
Chapter Recap: Setting the Stage
To start off Chapter 255, let’s read the text at the top to remember what happened in the last chapter:
“Like a young male lion prowling the Serengeti to create this pride, every egoism on the field is out there fighting to change his destiny. Take full advantage of your opportunity.”
The chapter begins with the ball high up in the air from Kuiggami’s outstanding block in the last chapter. Isagi, Hiyori, and Kuniggami are all going for the ball, but none of them manage to get it. Instead, Ness traps the ball right between Tokimitsu and Zantetsu. He has to think fast, and he does, passing the ball to Grim just before Tokimitsu could interfere.
Match Action: The Rivalry Intensifies
Grim receives the ball but quickly passes it to Kaiser. However, advancing the ball won’t be easy as Kaassu is right behind him. Imagine the shock both Kaiser and Kaassu feel when suddenly Shida and Kuniggami squeeze in between them, creating a revenge matchup. Their clash becomes wild, but they manage to gain control of the ball. Raimi traps the ball with his chest, but with Ness nearby, he must act fast. Of course, he has to say his signature slogan “Sexy chance,” but before he can finish, Charles swoops in with his devilish aura and steals the ball. He mocks Raimi, calling him a “sweaty, non-sexy meathead” which leaves Raimi enraged.
Charles vs. Rin: A Battle of Wits
Charles keeps control of the ball, going up against Isagi, with Rin by his side. Rin calls out to Charles to pass, but Charles laughs at him, mocking his “boring” run. Using Rin as a decoy, Charles gets behind Isagi with ease. But Hori is not far behind, trying to keep up.Charles, however, is in control, and Isagi recognizes that Charles is toying with them. Just when it seems Charles has the upper hand, Kuiggami blocks the pass, surprising everyone. Isagi praises Kuiggami, calling him a “cyborg”. Kuiggami’s revenge on Shida is in full force. Isagi reflects on Kuiggami’s performance, realizing that his passion and ego are still burning strong, just like in the first selection. The match’s momentum is shifting, and Kuiggami is a key player in keeping Shida in check. As a result, Charles’s options are becoming limited.
The Tri-Flow Chemical Reaction
As the chapter progresses, Isagi proposes an exciting strategy. He suggests combining top performances from multiple players to create a “triplicate chemical reaction.” This involves himself, Hori, and Kuiggami locking in to create an unstoppable force on the field.
The chapter ends with an intense panel showcasing Isagi, Kuiggami, and Hori, with a promise of greater things to come. The text at the bottom reads:
“Only by clashing and crossing your performances with your allies can you evolve and tip the game in your favor. Envision a new world and show us a goal beyond our wildest imaginations.”
Final Thoughts
This chapter was really satisfying, especially seeing how Kuiggami is shutting down Shida. However, I suspect either Rin will soon join the fray, or Shida will figure out a way to counter Kuiggami. Right now, Charles is pulling the strings, but I don’t think it will last long. Hori, Kuiggami, and Isagi are on the verge of forming a triple chemical reaction, which would be mind-blowing to witness.
Overall, I’m really excited for the next chapter. Do you think Bastard Munchen will score the next goal? Let me know your thoughts and theories in the comments below! If you enjoyed this review, be sure to subscribe, leave a like, and watch my other videos. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
