Alright, so today I'm back with yet another chapter review, and today we will go over Chapter 277, which is something really special. We will see both Noah and Loki showing off some of their incredible skills, mostly Loki, who's just insane in this chapter. But that's not all, as we will also see the rat, Igarashi, do a wonder play, which is something that I can guarantee you wouldn't want to miss. So, sit back and watch to find out what happens because it's really insane.
Chapter 277: Genius and Prodigy
For Chapter 277, also called Genius and Prodigy, we get a small text in the beginning which goes as follows: "Through the monitors, the fate of the egotists is etched here." Then, we see Ego sitting in his chair, closely analyzing the Bastard Vs PXG game. He remarks that Rin has now lit a fire in the final match.
Ego's Analysis
We get a close-up of Ego, and it feels like it's been decades since we last saw him, but I'm glad to finally see him eating his noodles as always. He's got some company from Henri, who can't believe that Julian Loki actually wants to take the field as he hasn't played once up until now. She also mentions that their viewers just spiked, making them the number one trending topic on social media worldwide, which is just crazy.
Match Breakdown
Next, we get to Isagi, who's burning up with a mix of rage and determination to stop Rin at any cost. Loki and the commentators review what has just happened, stating that PXG has swapped out their defender and brought in Master Loki. Bastard Munchkin has swapped out Rensuke Kuiggami and Rani Corona, bringing in Master Noah and the rat, Guria Igarashi.

Final Thoughts
Seeing Ego and Henri back again, even for a short moment, was a nostalgic highlight of the chapter. The partnership between Noah and Isagi seemed to signal a turning point, although the looming presence of Kaiser indicates that more twists are on the way. Loki’s pure speed and skill are currently unmatched, and Bastard Munchkin will have to come up with a strategy to counter him.
Igarashi's Redemption
As much as I enjoy clowning on Igarashi, I have to admit that his play was crucial to the team’s survival in this chapter. If not for his surprising yet effective move, the match might have ended in defeat for Bastard Munchkin.
