Blue Lock Season 2 Episode 2 Release Date and Time
After a long wait, the first episode of Blue Lock season two has finally premiered. The upcoming episodes promise to answer many of the questions left by the end of season one. Episode two will air on October 12, 2024, at 12:30 AM Japan Standard Time (JST).

The Storyline Continues
The new arc belongs to the third selection. The 35 remaining players must now join Teams A, B, or C to demonstrate their skills. The key question is whether the players will be able to coexist with the six best players of Blue Lock: Rin Itoshi, Shidou Ryusei, Karasu Tabito, Otoya Eita, Yukimiya Kenya, and Nagi Seishiro.
The top 11 players will be selected to form the "Blue Lock 11," who will challenge Japan's Under-20 team in order to prevent Ego's project from being canceled.
Team Assignments
Group A
Group A consists of Rin Itoshi and Shidou Ryusei, alongside 12 other players: Shiraishi Seishiro, Nanase Niko, Aoshi, Ishikari, Barou Shoei, Igarashi Gurimu, Corona Haruo, Isagi Yoichi, Nishioka, Hiori Yo, and Tokimitsu.
Group B
Group B consists of Karasu Tabito and Otoya Eita, alongside 9 additional players: Barou Shouei, Yukimiya Kenya, Chigiri Hyoma, Niko Ikki, Hiori Yo, Aryu Jyubei, Naruhaya Asahi, Sae Itoshi, and Raichi Jingo.
Group C
Group C consists of Yukimiya Kenya and Nagi Seishiro, alongside 8 other players: Sada Jin, Tanaka Kiyoshi, Tsukihei, Gagamaru Gin, Wanima Hibiki, and Mikage Reo.
Match Setup
There will be a total of five matches. The first match will be between Team A and Team B.
Team A
Team A consists of Rin Itoshi, Shidou Ryusei, Nanase Niko, Hiori Yo, and Isagi Yoichi.
Team B
Team B consists of Karasu Tabito, Otoya Eita, Shiguma, Sae Itoshi, and Chigiri Hyoma.
The Match Begins
As the match begins, Isagi bets on adapting to Rin's playstyle in order to reach the goal together. However, Chigiri tries to stop Isagi, but Shidou demonstrates his skills and reflexes, recovering the ball and scoring a goal for Team A without even looking at the goal.
Character Highlights
Shidou Ryusei
Shidou is an eccentric player in Blue Lock with a strong inclination towards violence, or more specifically, physical altercations. His sole focus is on scoring goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world. Shidou is physically one of the strongest and most dominant players in Blue Lock.
Karasu Tabito
Karasu Tabito scores a goal for Team B. He has a sharp tongue and never misses an opportunity to insult someone, whether they are a friend or enemy. His intelligence, combined with his controlling nature, makes him a formidable opponent.
Otoya Eita
Otoya, descended from a ninja lineage, has a calm and relaxed personality. His moves during the match are swift and calculated, allowing him to score another goal for Team B.
The Final Moments of the Match
Despite being behind, Team A is not willing to give up. Rin Itoshi, always calculating, decides to take control of the match. Observing the plays of Karasu and Otoya, Rin speeds up his game and takes advantage of an opening in Team B's defense to score a second goal for Team A.
